Our Story
Rubycube is built on lived experience — not just spreadsheets and software.
We grew up in small business, quite literally. Jenny ran the books for our family plumbing business, and Jade — from a very young age — sat beside her, reading out invoice data and watching how the back end of a business was built. It wasn’t always glamorous, but it was real, and it taught us early on how much pressure small business owners carry.
Since then, we’ve walked different but complementary paths. Jenny formalised her expertise in tax and accounting, while Jade became the go-to for bookkeeping, streamlining systems, workflows, and financial clarity.

Jade Hendriks

Jade is a systems thinker, number cruncher, and straight-talking translator of financial chaos into clarity.
She works directly with clients to set up, fix, and streamline bookkeeping, accounting systems, and ServiceM8 workflows — delivering practical solutions that actually work for the team using them.
With a background in financial control, business intelligence, and years of hands-on support for small businesses, Jade brings deep expertise across Xero, ServiceM8, and “why-is-this-still-broken” troubleshooting. Whether it’s reconciling accounts, improving efficiency, or making the numbers make sense, she helps clients regain control and move forward with confidence.

Jenny brings decades of experience in both small business and accounting — and a rare ability to blend empathy with expertise.
Before co-founding Rubycube, she ran a family plumbing business alongside her husband while raising a family. Those years shaped her deep understanding of the financial and emotional pressure business owners face — and fuel her commitment to making things easier for others.
